Books: What I'm Reading

Along with the daily reading of history and science, and Kyle and Kamryn's read aloud (Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder), I enjoy a bit of light reading as well.

This book is a book I am reviewing for Bethany House.  It's captured my attention and I am enjoying it.

These are the new books by the sisters who developed the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan.  I am excited to have them and to use the recipes in the cookbook!

What are you reading these days?

I just began John: The Gospel of Wisdom by Michael Card. I have been waiting for Ron and Kati to finish it first as this was the book discussed at the conference they attended. But now they're back and it's my turn!

In the queue...The Tanglewoods' Secretby Patricia St. John, recommended by Bekah.

We are reading Little House on the Prairie with the quads, Doris Day autobiography and Sing Your Heart Out Country Boy out loud together and then I am reading Petals on the River by Kathleene Woodiwiss. What would our be like without books??

I just agreed to review the Trim Healthy Mama cookbook! I'm reading a Grace Livingston Hill book and perusing a Bible I will review on Friday.

I have several books going but what I'm enjoying most is reading Narnia to my granddaughter … taking me back to 30 years ago when it was her dad snuggling next to me as I read it to him.

I am reading two excellent books, Orley Farm by Anthony Trollope (Austen lovers will like him) and As Waters Gone By by Cynthia Ruchti, a book with a Christian theme of hope.
