Celebrating A Birthday

Yesterday was my dad's 81st birthday.  We hadn't seen him in 8 weeks, because they are social distancing.  Our family and Nate's decided to surprise him by going over to sing happy birthday.  He loved it and was happy to see everyone.

He came outside while staying at a distance.

He's chomping at the bit to have this all over with so people can start getting together again.

I'm so glad that we were able to go over and spend about an hour outside with him on his birthday!

That was wonderful. It is so sad that we have to do this, but we can find ways to show our love in other ways. We need to keep our loved ones safe.

Happy (belated) birthday to your dad! Even with all of the adjustments, it's still important to celebrate our dear ones on their special days!
