Yesterday was my dad's 81st birthday. We hadn't seen him in 8 weeks, because they are social distancing. Our family and Nate's decided to surprise him by going over to sing happy birthday. He loved it and was happy to see everyone.
He came outside while staying at a distance.
He's chomping at the bit to have this all over with so people can start getting together again.
I'm so glad that we were able to go over and spend about an hour outside with him on his birthday!

That was wonderful. It is so sad that we have to do this, but we can find ways to show our love in other ways. We need to keep our loved ones safe.
Oh I can tell that he was moved by your visit. Happy 81st to him! (He and I are sporting the same hairdo. ☺)
Oh what a wonderful time to visit and sing... Happy Birthday to your DAD! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
Happy Birthday "dad"! Lord willing this trouble of the virus will soon be over. Thank God you are well and you have family that loves you.
How lovely to visit and celebrate with your dad.
Happy (belated) birthday to your dad! Even with all of the adjustments, it's still important to celebrate our dear ones on their special days!
I'm sure that was such an encouragement for your dad! Missing family during this time is one of the hardest. That was a good thing for you guys to do--and outside visiting is the best!
