Homegrown Revolution

This is a really amazing video of a family who are growing food on 1/5th of an acre in the middle of the city of Pasadena, California!

How many of us would survive without the grocery store?  It's something we have been thinking about...

  1. We plant a garden every year that could feed an army, LOL. We eat lots of fresh veggies in the summer and put away a lot of wintertime eating. We also share with our friends and neighbors. Corn on the cob tastes amazing when it comes straight to the garden to the pot!

  3. Thank you for this post. We began thinking about this in the late spring of last year. We were trying to figure out how we could grow some of our own things in our small space, and lately, I've been trying to figure out if we could make room for a few chickens. Seeing these people do this in a small space is encouraging. Although I'm not sure that we would do as many of the things that were in this video.
