Hydrangea Talk (On A Rainy Monday Morning)

We are going to be rainy all week, and I am not complaining!

I wanted to show you my hydrangea.  I showed this photo with the roses and hydrangea together last week.

The roses are gone but the hydrangea is going strong!

Do you remember this photo I showed with the filter to make the flowers more blue?  The filter made the flowers are deeper blue than they really are, but in my original photo they looked purple.

Here they are without the filter, not blue enough.

Here is a photo I took this morning without a filter.  This is their natural color.

Here they are in comparison to the other hydrangea I showed above that were with the roses.  They are from the same hydrangea bush!

I really do adore the deeper blue ones, but I love all hydrangea.  My limelights have a ton of buds on them and are going to be beautiful again this year.

I wanted to say again, how much I love this community we're building here.  So many long time friends, and a few new ones.  You've really blessed me by your presence and your comments!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Your hydrangeas are beautiful. Like you, I prefer the blue ones, but will take them in any colour. One of my large bushes produces various hues, so I pick and choose the colours I like. Amazing plants. Enjoy the rainy days - we're heating up here this week. We don't have the humidity, so it's not too bad.

So glad you are getting rain. Yeah! Your hydrangea are beautiful. I've never grown them but your pictures make me want to try!

If I had any room left in my packed garden, I would plant a hydrangea bush. The blues have been very rich and deep when I have seen them here. Are you using Lovella’s tip for cut hydrangeas? Yours are stunning! I like the way you have styled them in the blue china.

We are going into another week of heat, with health warnings put out by the Government now. So we would love some of your rain, please!

I love how different the hydrangea flowers are. Ours were quite blue this summer. We too are finally getting some rain! Yay!

I always admire your hydrangeas, mine have not bloomed this year, the bushes are so green and lush, but no blooms, I must find out your secret!~smile~ We are getting a reprieve from the extreme heat, with some much needed rain this week too! Have a blessed evening.
