Christmas Concert
Sarah's Christmas concert was held in a beautiful Presbyterian church. This is always a very well attended concert and we had to sit in the side rows.
Here is the one full video I got of the senior choir singing. Sarah is behind the boy on the left that is turned slightly.
For the opening song, the senior choir girls spread down each side of the church. Sarah was right by us!
They did this also for the senior choir singing The Carol of the Bells! It was awesome, but their backs are turned to us so it didn't make for great video.
It was a lovely concert. The choirs range from 1st-2nd grade, 3-5th, 6th-8th, and 9-12th. They are all home educated students.
Here is a photo of how they opened the concert
They opened with all the choirs singing Once In Royal David's City, and ended with all the choirs and some of the orchestra performing Joy Has Dawned by Keith and Kristen Getty and Stewart Townen.
My parents, Lindsay and Joseph, Nate and Kayleigh and the girls, Weston and Rachel all attended It made my heart happy to see them all there to support Sarah! Of course, Tim, Kyle and I were there, too!
This concert was free, though they took an offering to defray costs. Do you have free concerts in your area during the holiday season? If you do, you should take the opportunity to go to a live performance, and it will get you in the Christmas spirit!
