The Last Of The Summer Roses

Our nights have been dipping down into the 30's lately so I thought I'd clip the last of my summer roses.  We've had beautifully mild days since September and the roses kept blooming.

I simply popped them into a half pint canning jar. They have such beauty, and their frangrance, especially the dark Munstead Woods, is delightful.

I'm enjoying them on the table next to 'my' chair.  I hope they last and last!

Hello Deanna~

Wow! Those roses are just gorgeous! The colors are so beautiful together and I'm sure they smell just as amazing as they look. I love fall flowers!

Hugs,
Barb

Your roses are stunning. It is an excellent option to make bouquets for the house. I had planned to do that with the last few roses, but forgot all about it. I doubt that I would have forgotten if my roses looked anything like yours. ☺️

Breathtakingly beautiful. It is raining yet again here in western NY, however the temps says 70*, which is odd because yesterday it was barely 40*. I know the cold and snow will be here before we know it. smiles

That was a great idea to gather and bring them in where you can enjoy them longer! They are beautiful!
