A Long Marriage

My parents married young, Mom was 17 and Dad was 20.  They married the summer before her senior year of high school, and he was in the Navy.

They've weathered many storms and have stuck together and trusted God to see them through.

Happy anniversary to your mom and dad! A long and committed marriage is a beautiful legacy for their children and grandchildren.

My parents celebrated their 57th anniversary this year too (in May). And my Dad was in the Navy (in fact, I was born in a Naval Hospital). My in-laws celebrated their 63rd in May! How blessed we are to have their examples, huh?

Blessings,
Patti

Happy Anniversary to your mom and dad! Oh, I just love the wedding picture. My uncles were all in the navy during the same time, and it just brings back wonderful thoughts of them all, and my grandpa. Lovely post!
