Hall Bathroom Reveal

Today, I'm going to show you the finished (for now) hall bathroom.  When I started out to refresh this bathroom, I had in mind a lot of white, as this bathroom gets no natural light.

When I went shopping for a new shower curtain, I fell in love with the blue and white pattern, and its colonial inspired pattern changed the direction of my plans.

You can see a before of the bathroom here

Here is the finished (for now) bathroom.

I hung some of my Colonial Williamsburg prints in gallery style on the big wall.  There are actually three of them on the wall.

The mirror is perfect!  I just love it in this room!

I'm enjoying how uncluttered the bathroom is without the picket fencing to hang towels on. The wall on the right side of the mirror is where the linen closet is, and it is a very nice size and holds towels, tablecloths, toiletries, toilet paper, medicines, etc.

I made a little video of the room

It is not a big bathroom and so I wanted to give it a feel of more space by minimizing what is in this room.  This is the bathroom guests use though when we have a larger crowd (like yesterday) they use the master bathroom as well.  This is the kids bathroom but now they hang their towels in their bedrooms.

We don't have a guest room, when we have overnight guests they sleep in either our bedroom, or one of the girls bedrooms, so their towels would just hang in the room they are staying in.

I say that the bathroom is finished for now because we'd eventually like to put a pedestal sink in this room.  But until we do that I am very pleased with how it looks!

I'm joining with Bernideen for BTTCG and Sandi for No Place Like Home. Also Laura, Jemma, Stacey, and Laura for Thoughts of Home on Thursday!

Oh! Love that curtain!

Deanna, it's beautiful and very classy. When comparing it to the previous red and white, with the picket fence, it doesn't even look like the same room.

And that mirror...gorgeous to the max!!

Patti
