A Season Of Change

If you've been around my blog for any length of time, you know I adore the autumn season. I love the bright warm days, and cool evenings of September, I love the need for a sweater or light jacket in October, and yes, I love the need to bundle up from the cold of November.

These days of change, with leaves turning, activities changing, meals being heartier, bring me delight. I am an autumn person, and my house is an autumn house. We both love autumn.

My house is in need of a seasonal cleaning, which will happen this weekend. You know the kind where you move the furniture and vacuum under where they have been sitting, getting the duster out and getting all the cob webs that pop up when you aren't looking.

Change is here in Pennsylvania and I'm ready for it.

I've seen a tiny bit of color here in the Ozark Mountains. We usually go from green to dirty green to brown. I will enjoy YOUR fall colors!!

The summer-into-autumn is one of my favorite kind of changes! I am slowly making the changes inside and waiting for the outside to catch up with me. It's coming . . .

Right now I'm sitting near the open window that overlooks my patio. There's a slight breeze and sunshine. So lovely. Like you, I look forward to heartier meals. I'm collecting recipes. :) xo
