Weekend

We had a lovely weekend.  We gave the living room a good cleaning, moved furniture, dusted, vacuumed. It needed it. Then Tim and I spent the day with our friends. It was a stunning early autumn day. We drove around looking at horse farms and eating lunch at an English Pub.

Sunday after church Tim took the girls and Kyle for a nice hike to the river. While they were gone I potted up my mums. One pot that had been in the garden had an ant colony that took up residence. In one pot. The video shows the ants. There were thousands! Yikes.

I hope you had a good weekend, too. Our friends have left for home, and we miss them.

Your day sounded picture perfect! English pub, huh?? That sound SO fall-ish to me!!
I hope to get my pumpkins and mums purchased on Wednesday and Thursday this week! Will put up new lights around the front door tonight.
I love this time of year - except it's going to be 97 degrees every day this week. NEXT week it will be in 80's.....
