Gathering The Moments

August has seemed quieter since we didn't take any road trips this month at all.  We really just hung out at home and got a good month of school under our belts!

The month began with losing Tommy, Joseph's younger brother. The memorial service was special.  Their mom Susanna has posted an amazingly open post on her blog that is worth reading.

Kyle turned nine this month and we started school!  So happy to have 19 days finished already!

All four of my girls were baptized this month.

Our church gave Emma a going away party, and took the time to pray over her.

We've had amazing weather for August, with the a/c off much of the time!  Unheard of for August!

Kamryn and I had a sleep over and we attended a wonderful wedding!

The month seemed calm and slow, in spite of the big life events of this month.  I'm thankful for all the memories this month.

Thanks Cheryl for hosting us again this month.  I love Gathering the Moments, and if you do why don't you join us?

Many, many blessings were yours this month! Kyle is another year older. The girls have all grown in their walk with the Lord. Good times with family and friends and 19 days of school...It was a full August!

I read Susanna's post and it is so very moving. Her outlook is amazing. I continue to pray for her as she walks this journey of grief and honors the Lord.

Thank you for joining the link-up again this month! I love sharing your moments!

What a month...highs and such lows with your son-in-law's parents losing Tommy. I read the post...intense, profound, powerful.

Yay for 19 days in the can! Not that we would wish any time away.

Wonderful days you have had--really all about life. Celebrating a life now absent, a birth-day, a wedding, baptism, farewell, and taking note of the beautiful cooler air … God is faithful in it all.

Information Friday

We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Missouri! We drove, leaving Friday morning and came back on Monday! It was long, but it was worth it...
