Pretty colors against the green. My favorite? The wood pile peaking out behind the brilliant leaf. It speaks of things to come. Pleasant things like warmth and camaraderie and good food and health and happiness and gratitude for it all.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever had one of those "duh" moments? I have been looking for some leafy decorating for my house that doesn't cost much. Why didn't I think to just take some leaf close ups like that and frame them? I wonder if I can find some leafy shots now. Fall pretty much starts and ends the same day here.

Thought of you when we were at the Ren Faire a couple weeks ago - knew you lived sort of close - such a lovely day but the large party we arrived with split up and we barely saw each other! Homeschoolers off doing their own thing, I guess!
