I bought this sweet teapot last week at Christmas Tree Shops. The blue and white caught my attention.
I paired it with a few teacups for the top of my mantel.
This teacup was purchased at Yorktown, Virginia. I like its shape and the footed cup.
I also have a set of four of these Spode Blue Room teacups.
And these great little ironstone bowls by Johnson Brothers.
I'm joining today with Bernideen and with Sandi for some party fun!
It's close to impossible to improve on blue and white dinnerware, in my opinion. (Not sure I've ever seen a footed cup before! How special.)
ReplyDeleteAs someone who loves and collects blue and what china I REALLY enjoyed my visit to your Creekside Cottage today! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pieces you have Deanna. The little onion pattern in the last picture is identical to the plate I have of Grandmother's. Just treasures...thank you for sharing today!
ReplyDeleteBlue and white china is a pretty choice for tea, would love to join you.

ReplyDeleteI've never met blue transfewares that I didn't like! I especially adore the teacup with the cute little feet!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tea Cups!!! It makes me want to brew up a cup right now!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh...love this blue and white. The second teacup you featured looks very much like the Courier & Ives set of dishes I have. Blue and white always makes such a statement and is a great accent for any color scheme, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteBlue and white go so well together.
ReplyDeleteBlue and white just rocks my boat! Your new pot is just so nice!
ReplyDeleteThey're all so beautiful! I am going to start adding blue and white to my collection! Have you seen the current issue of Tea Time magazine?
