Tea On Tuesday

Yesterday was cool and rainy, and today is going to be cloudy with a high of 77.  Highly unusual for August.  I know this sounds like a weather report, but I'm only mentioning the weather because it lead me to a nice pot of Irish tea.

It really felt like fall so when I was using my spring tea pot it felt extra weird, but the tea was poured into my large sized Old Country Roses cup and it was all good!

I paired it with a cupcake that was low carb (perfect for my eating plan - Trim Healthy Mama) and it was a perfect snack.

Tim was home yesterday, doing paperwork and looking online at vehicles.  He was one that he liked, called to see if it was still available.  It was, so we went to check it out.  We test drove it, looked it over, and Tim bought it!

Hurray!  The search for a vehicle for work is over!  Its a 2010 Chevy Tahoe.  I was going to get photos this morning, but he ended up needing to use it today! We've been talking about him using my van (he likes the layout of the dual sliding doors and lift gate for accessing his tools) on days he doesn't need to haul water to an inspection.  I would use the Tahoe, except for the hauling water days, which is okay by me!

Thank you all for your prayers for us regarding a vehicle!  We can't thank you enough!

We are enjoying cooler than usual August weather too and after the high 90's in July we won't complain to be anywhere in the 80's. Old Country Roses is always such a beloved pattern - thank you for sharing and linking.

Old Country Roses always looks so elegant. I LOOOOVE Twining's Irish breakfast tea, it's among my favorites. What an enjoyable tea you have!

RA's OCR is one of my favourite designs! Fall-themed decor has started popping up in stores. Too soon for me!

Overall we've had a milder year weather-wise. We'll see what happens with the fall and winter!

We are really happy with the Tahoe!

I love the Tahoe! But now that he has used it two days, he's keeping it! Selfish! (grin) I'm happy for him!

I remember the heat in Missouri! It seems as if many of us have unseasonably cooler weather this year!

I love Irish Breakfast! Hot or Iced!

Old Country Roses is such a great pattern. This tea cup is a larger one and I like it very much!

Deanna, I would have felt right at home, having recently been given a friend's OCR tea set she was no longer using. And I do love to brew a nice strong pot of Irish Breakfast. Glad you got your car issue settled.
