These are photos of our Cleveland Pear that we planted 14 years ago. It's still turning colors.
My Goldmound Spirea is beautiful in the autumn.
Our neighbors gave us Stayman Winesap apples. The smell and taste is amazing!
How's the weather where you live?

WoW! That's a bunch of apples! Such a nice neighbor! After three days of clouds and rain, we are finally getting sunshine. It has been pretty normal for us, as far as temps go, but this weekend we are suppose to get our first really cold weather. I suspect, from there, it will go downhill!
Grace & Peace.
So it looks like you had success with Vee's glycerin and water leaf treatment (at least I think I read about it on Vee's blog). Wow you will be making applesauce? Autumn looks pretty around your place.
We are having beautiful fall weather too! I plan to preserve some of our Bradford pear leaves too! The Stayman Winesap apples look delicious, we didn't have a good crop this year, due to late frost, and deer dining!
Thanks for visiting me and for your encouragement!
I am still having some blurred vision, if words are misspelled please excuse. ~smile~
Blessings,
Sue
What great neighbors! I have heard of that variety, but can't remember eating one. The spirea is beautiful. My preserved leaves are doing well...they do best when wetted again oddly enough. They should last through Thanksgiving. It had been mild...a bit chilly now, but still in the 40s.
It's been a warm fall here in western New York, too; they are saying it could be the warmest November on record. We've broken a couple of high temp records! It's been nice to have it relatively warm, but it makes me wonder what the rest of the winter will be like.
What are you planning to do with all the apples?
It is mild here too! We are expecting rain today but it has been a mild Autumn! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
that's a lot of apples!!
