A Baby Sprinkle

I hosted a small baby shower for Kayleigh on Sunday.  It's her second baby and so I kept it small and called it a 'sprinkle.'

Kayleigh let Kamryn help her to open the gifts.

My mom bought Kamryn a tutu to match one that she bought Klaire!

My mom commissioned my sister in law to create a special card (that can be framed).  Its the cutest!

The only flowers still blooming in my gardens.

I made a 'onesie' cake!  Adorable and easy!

I bought Kamryn a Kangaroo family that has a Daddy, Mommy, big sister and baby sister!  Just like her family!

Now we only have to wait for the babies to decide to come!

There are so many things to love here! I love the idea of a "sprinkle" for a second (or third, or fourth, or whatever...) baby. I believe that every new baby should be celebrated! I also love your beautiful feminine touches: the adorable onesie cake, the gorgeous blooms, the delicate pink-themed tea cups.

So much anticipation for your family these days!!

Love the kangaroo family! So cute! Fabulous idea and so like a loving grandmama. Any time now for those babies, yes? Or is it actually a few more weeks?

I like the idea of a 'sprinkle' celebration and was thrilled to see the teacups laid out.

I love that you did this. I firmly believe that second babies (and third and fourth and so on) deserve showers just as much as first babies.

Can't wait to hear of the little one's arrival.

Blessings,
Patti
