Cottage Garden: Seeds

I'm getting excited to begin growing.  Our weather has been really mild, and the ladies who work in the garden shop that Lindsay is working at say that we could probably put our gardens in now.

So this week I'm going to getting my seed starter soil and get some of these seed started.

Perennials are difficult to grow from seed and many garden centers buy their perennials from growers!  But I'm going to give it a shot because some of these varieties cannot be found in my area!

What are your garden plans?

Very few! Thin and maintain current perennials and plant 3 tomato plants! This is my "stage" of life...😊

I have no garden plans, but will happily watch your garden grow.

I can't wait to see your garden!! I usually buy bedding plants but Louis Dean is a seed grower! He's already got it in all the yogurt cups he caught before I threw them away. He puts holes in the bottoms and sets them on a tray after he has added the soil and seeds. We'll see how does better this year - his seeds or my plants!

I have a lot of seed packets, too, and am itching to get them into the ground.

No garden plans yet, but it's getting about time to start thinking about it! (the seed packets are pretty with all of the flowers on them) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

I am so excited for gardening , it is a sweet moment when I saw my Grandma's desk !!! that your seeds are laid out on . I have been missing her dearly , she has been gone almost 40 years , but I miss her and her flower garden !! As a child I loved pulling those skinny hidden drawers out on both sides of the door ,like I was finding a hidden treasure chest ( empty tho ) !! LOL

Information Friday

We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Missouri! We drove, leaving Friday morning and came back on Monday! It was long, but it was worth it...
