This was our sky last night! So beautiful.
Well, last night sure was interesting, wasn't it? DJT has the votes to have claimed victory, and in any other year he already would be declared the winner. It is so interesting to see the left fight for their lives, as their deeds have been uncovered and they are hoping to not be held accountable.
The other side is delaying so that they can try to 'create' more votes. In Pennsylvania DJT is over 600,000 votes ahead of Bid*n, and even with counting all the mail in votes, Bid*n can't win Pennsylvania. They've worked hard though with our state Supreme Court to cheat. We'll see how it goes. I'm praying, BIG TIME!
I believe they knew how this was going to go. It will be a big win for DJT, in the end.
One sad thing has happened with an acquaintance friend on Social Media. We have very opposing views, but we never have spoken about it. Anyone could tell by the things we share. There have been times I've shaken my head and felt dumbfounded, but I never unfriended her. We both claim to be Christians, and that should keep us sisters in him.
This morning I saw she had posted this - "I just want to say...if you voted for trump, please unfollow me. Don't message me, Don't like my pictures, Don't watch my stories. You kinda gross me out."
Now, this was not written just to me. It was her post on Insta. It made me sad, but after I posted a face with a tear, I did what she requested.
I have appreciated all of you who have written in support of what I have shared regarding the election, even getting a first time commenter! However, I also appreciate that there may be many who disagreed with me, and just didn't comment. What a lovely mature thing to do. I've never seen the need to argue with someone on social media if they have a different opinion, I just don't comment, or perhaps don't hit that heart button.
I will say this. God has allowed many things to be revealed in these last few years. and I believe he is going to deal with these things, still. The main thing is that I've seen people who have walked away from God, turn back to him. God is interested in building his kingdom, and he uses many different things to do this.

Deep division in this country to be sure, but the thing is Conservatives have not moved, it is the progressive side who believe that The Constitution is a living document that can not be interpreted as written. They believe that when things don't go their way, they have the right to riot and loot. That is what grosses me out. Not to mention the moral issues that they embrace, which no person claiming to be a Christian can do.
I am sorry for the loss of a friend, but she actually turned out to be not much of a friend after all.
Ephesians 5:11
Sorry about your friend. Appreciated your post yesterday. I don’t comment but read you every day. Thanks for sharing truths I may not be aware of. Blessings, Sharon D.
well said, deanna.
the past few years have brought much to light
and caused me to take a quiet step back .. from contention
as well as heart safety. bless you dearly this day.
Sadly, I have read so much of this happening today. One came from a former professor who supported my internship and gave me a wonderful reference for a teaching job-- today he spewed awful hateful mean words...anyways...I will never unfriend anyone. You wanna unfriend, it will come from you, not me, is what I told him. I believe fraud is a real issue...I better leave it at that.
Thank you for sharing truth, even if they are uncomfortable...and as one who holds a BA in History, history is not comfortable...nor is truth. Which, said professor said I was part of the 60 million voters who voted for Trump, the racist etc. man. Saddens me...and I am sorry about your friend.
I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm sure it feels awful and honestly, I find that kind of behavior very immature. A young friend of ours once made the same statement and I replied that if we all unfollowed/ unfriended or closed our minds and hearts to people we disagreed with we'd never learn anything. We'd also never have a chance to perhaps educate each other, change minds or share ideas. I used the classroom example that if he had to complete a project with someone he completely disagreed with and refused to do it they'd both get F's. If they decided to compromise, hear each other out and work together they might be able to even get an A+...and as citizens, we, and our government, should all be doing the same. It's the way this country was designed to operate. It's amazing to me how many people don't get that...no matter which "side" you're on. Take care my friend.
Hang in there! That friend was not really a friend! I know how it must hurt!.
Just nice to know that there are people who feel like we do. This is the most wonderful country and I hope for our children and grandchildren it will stay . There is not place else like the USA. God Bless us all.
Thank you for these words.....
I’m not one to usually comment on blogs but since the door was opened for this type of discussion, I felt led to share my thoughts. I know it’s a little late since the President will be announced soon, but these thoughts apply to the future as well. To preface, I’m not thrilled with either candidate so am not touting one over the other. I pray for God’s will in the person selected. Only He knows best.
Here is what I’m looking for in a President:
• Someone, first of all, who is authentic, who has high moral character in their personal life as well as in their public life. There is a character connection between leaders and followers. Who a person is does affect their actions and decisions.
• Someone who leads with integrity and excellence, who exhibits courage, strength, and compassion especially during the difficult times.
• Someone who truly loves our country and wants the best for all of us, not just for themselves.
• Someone who works toward unity in diversity and desires to promote peace here and around the world rather than stir up dissention.
• Someone who has a strong vision for the country’s future and is able to communicate that clearly as well as instigate the steps to achieve that vision.
• Someone who protects our country from those who seek to destroy us and raises the bar high as to who we are and what we expect in terms of cooperation and respect.
• Finally, someone who is able to handle criticism and disagreement without retaliation and name calling, who is mature enough to recognize that others also have valid viewpoints and can offer wisdom from varying perspectives.

Beautiful sunset...
Would you believe? We are still not following results. Looked to see if very inappropriate local vote, was defeated. It was! Happy, happy, happy.
Now, I am just going back into "No News Land." All it does, is worry me and rile me up. Can't do anything now. Call me an ostrich. Yes, I am. -smile-
Gentle hugs,
