Information Friday

I'm posting early because we'll be on the road tomorrow.

Most of this post was going to be about the shooting in Nashville, and the media response to it verses other shootings. However, late afternoon today word came down that the NYC grand jury decided to indict Trump.

What a dark day for our failing nation. There was no crime, and normally what they are saying he did is a misdemeanor. Bragg is filing it as a felony after changing 50% of real criminal felonies in NYC to misdemeanors.

After all these years, they've searched and searched, got his taxes, tried to impeach him twice, already had a trial on this Stormie Daniels stuff (he was found innocent btw and she had to pay him!), and this is the best they've got to try to keep him out of the White House?

The scariest thing to me is that so many people believe it. They still cannot see that this country has weaponized its government against not only DJT but its' citizens as well.

Zelensky is no hero. Why is he closing churches?

As hard as it is to see and to recognize what is really been going on in our nation, we must see it and speak out against it. These are the people who control the nations, through the banks. The woman in the photo above is Marina Abramovic. Look up Spirit Cooking.

We all once thought that our presidents were different from each other. Now we know they are really the same.

Well, except for Trump. Which is why they hate him so much. Hillary was to be next, not DJT.

Pray for our nation. I believe we are going to see some things revealed in the days to come that will shock us. But we must know. We must break free from the evil that has got its hands on our nation.

Do not fear. Be peaceful. Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. Walk with God.

Remember what hate did -

What I Can Do

Praying today for the families and students of Covenant Christian School.

Our world is so lost. We've been feed a diet of celebrity worship, self focus, an ideology that leaves God out of lives. It's backward.

We must worship God, love our neighbors. Our neighborhood has changed some in the last several years and there are homes where we don't know everyone's names. I'm going to try to change that this year.

I'm thinking we can host a neighborhood bbq. Have it be a drop in, actually meet our neighbors. (our neighborhoods' properties have around an acre of land)

If we can come to know each other, we can help each other out when needed. We can be aware of needs.

I'm praying that everyone will be willing. We must stop allowing ourselves to be divided from people because of political ideologies, race, religion. Some people may not want to be friends, and that's okay.

I just want to do what I can to be a good neighbor and to love others.

Weekend

Wedding weekend was grey and rainy, but there was a lot of happiness!

The venue is beautiful!

Seth and Erin are 1940's reenactors, and go to a lot of events. They styled their wedding that way. After the ceremony he changed into a WWII uniform and she changed into a 1940's style wedding gown for the reception.

Here she's trying to get the cake topper off before they used a sword to cut the cake.

It was a lovely day.

Sunday was the sunny and warm!

I took this photo in the van outside church. Tim was letting the girls play at the playground for a few minutes. The sun was streaming through the open sunroof!

We came home and I mixed up ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce, and made burgers. Tim grilled them and we grill the buns, too!

Our friend Dean joined us. After lunch while we were still visiting Wes dropped by to hang out as well. Rachel was away this weekend with some girlfriends from Word of Life.

Later Tim did some work on our van, while a few people played Skip-Bo. I was in weekend recovery mode.

My daffodils are in bloom, so I had Kamryn cut some.

Sunny beauties in the kitchen!

How was your weekend?

Information Friday

This is an old photo from 2012! It's a rainy day here today, too!

I wanted to address at least one of the comments that I have gotten recently. Deanna commented: "You have a great deal of info that I will read when I can, but as for President Jackson and the TRIAL OF TEARS? He was no saint. Are you familiar with the TRAIL OF TEARS?"

Thank you Deanna, for your comment. I know about the Trail of Tears and it is a deep wound in our history. My favorite Uncle was Cherokee Indian, and Tim and I spent part of our missionary training in Oklahoma among Cherokee speakers, studying and learning the language.

I have learned over the years that no man is perfect. The same is true for leaders, many have great flaws. That doesn't mean that God can't and won't use them.

I've also become aware that there is much of our history that may not be exactly the truth.

We can look at the issue of NYC AG Alvin Bragg for example. He was found this week to have hidden 600 pages of documents that showed that President Trump committed no crime. Yet, if it hadn't come out a whole different view of Trump would have been given. In fact many people still believe he is a racists after the media edited his comments. Even though it has been proven and shown, still there are those who believe what the media said.

When someone is hated because they are not who the central bankers and deep state wanted (think World Economic Forum etc), and they control the media, they can change history.

The January 6th 'insurrection' is an example. With the hidden video coming out we are seeing that the Capitol police officer was not injured that day, let alone beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher, and killed. He died several days later of a stroke. You can see him in the video, after the time he was supposedly killed, and he is just fine and walking around the Capitol.

Yet the politicians and media still push this idea that he was killed that day, and that there were several officers killed that day. This is not true.

All this to say, I believe that the Trail of Tears was not a good thing. At All.

This past week we've seen that the corrupt AG of NYC was trying to indict Trump on a felony charge of paying hush money to Stormie Daniels. They tried this in 2018, and it was proven to not be true. She even came out and said that they had never had an affair. A lawyer who worked for the Trump organization, paid her out of his own funds, never consulted with Trump about it, but he later said he did it on behalf of Trump. There was a court case which they lost, Daniels had to pay Trump $300,000 dollars and court fees.

The lawyer, Michael Cohen, ended up being sued by Stormie Daniels and he ended up in jail for fraud, and stealing money from her.

His lawyer had released this statement -

He wrote the Federal Election Commission, on behalf of his client, to show that Mr. Cohen had paid the money, and Trump did not reimburse this money either personally or out of the campaign money.

However, there have been a few people who did violate campaign finance laws and never even went to court.

You can read more about that {here}.

What the establishment politicians would like is to keep Trump from being able to run for President again. They've tried everything, and keep coming back to the same old stories.

Now they are trying to say he lied to his lawyer about the documents he had at Mar-a-Lago. Really? Say it with me friends, "A President has the power to declassify anything. He is allowed to take any documents he wants." DJT also worked with the archives to make sure the documents were safely stored. The whole thing is a sham.

At the very least, it makes people (who still don't get it) think, "Well, I voted for him and he was a good president, but it's time for someone new." They think this because all the Trump news is negative all the time.

Have you ever wondered why?

Here is more of what people had to say this week about the case from NYC AG.

Bragg has cancelled the Grand Jury until Monday. He was found to have hidden evidence from the Grand Jury. He really should have dismissed the jury and the case after this evidence from Cohen's lawyer came out and the testimony from someone who worked in the AG office that there were 600 pages of documents that Bragg hid from the jury.

Looks like he potentially could be in trouble. He likely won't be charged because he's going after Trump.

Leaders from around the world are done being lectured to by the US. We have no moral high ground anymore as a nation.

When the news came out this week about the NYC case falling apart, there was a leak from the Judge in the case regarding the documents. Still trying to make it seem like it was a crime for Trump to have these documents.
What about the docs Biden had from the time he was a senator and VP? What's happened with those? What's happening with the evidence of criminality from the laptop?

Two tiered system of justice happening and if we don't flush it all out, the people will never get justice again. Only the ruling class masters.

In fact now Bragg is trying to blame Trump because he told people what Bragg was planning!

Here is an example of the media trying to spin a story.

Kari Lake won a huge victory from her appeal. The AZ Supreme Court ruled that the lower court must look at the signature verification issues! This is a huge part of the case! But the media wants you to think that it's a nothing burger!

And with all this, I'll say have a great weekend.

I have a wedding this weekend, tonight is the rehearsal and tomorrow morning is the wedding. I'd appreciate prayers that I'd be a blessing to the families, and help the wedding go smoothly!

Spring/Summer Wardrobe

I haven't purchased anything new in several years, so I recently purchased a few things to add to my existing wardrobe. I try to buy things that mix and match with other things I already own.

I purchased the dress above, and it is supposed to arrive today. It's a nice swing style knit dress with pockets!. I also bought it in plain navy. The length will not be above the knee for me, as I am short.

I also bought this shirt.

My shirts are in need of some items.  I like a tunic length to hide the tushie.

I also have a longer black with white stripes knit dress, a similar one in a dark teal color, a red ditsy floral pattern knit dress (which always gets comments of "I like your dress"), and a few others I've had for many years that are just fine for wearing around the house.

I know now why ladies in the past had their "house dresses." It meant that they didn't have to have such a big wardrobe.

In our throw away society, where we've had access to cheap clothes, we didn't care if we only wore something for one season. The problem with that is that in order for items to be manufactured so cheaply, people are being taken advantage of in the country of origin.

It also has to do with our financial system, but there is a reason that nearly everything was being made in China.

It's one reason we thrift a lot. Items are being reused, and not just thrown away.

Back to the wardrobe. At home I go barefoot all year long, but I am wearing orthotics now to help my hips be aligned, so I am likely going to wear my Skechers most of the spring/summer when I do wear shoes. I'm going to be putting them into my dress flats for the wedding I am coordinating this Saturday!

I still have this dress and jean jacket, too. I mostly will wear my knit dresses for these next two seasons.

I almost always wear them with capri length leggings. It's very sporty and comfortable.

Besides my jean jacket, I have one in red, and several cardigans in navy, pink, and green.

I'm all set, I think.

What about you? What will you be wearing this coming season?

Garden Talk

As you know, some of my plants will have to be relocated when we build. We are looking at a June starting date, so my peonies will have bloomed and be done by then. The peonies will have to move after that though before construction. Same for my roses in the front cottage garden, though they may not have to move until we do the work on the front steps.

So it may surprise you that I bought some bare root plants at Aldi last week.

It does seem a bit crazy but at $2.00 and change it was a deal I couldn't pass up.

I'm going to pot the Dahlia, and the Peacock Orchids. I've never grown either of these plants before, so it will be interesting.

I bought seven of these Sarah Bernhardt peonies.

I already have one of these peonies and I love it.

You can see why I can't resist them. I plan to plant them in pots for this year, and then in the autumn plant them out into the garden. I have a vision for a border of peonies and roses and other delights.

I am not sure however exactly where that will be located yet. But it will be stunning. Can't you just picture it?

Weekend

 Hello Friends!

Happy Spring! Today is the longest day of the year! Equal sunlight to darkness.

I hope you had a lovely weekend. We had blue skies and chilly temperatures, and Sunday was downright cold! But the daffodils are blooming, some trees are in bloom, our maples have their leaf buds, so even though, the peepers aren't singing yet, spring is really here!

Can you see my little grand in front of the playhouse? She and one of her sisters played outside for about an hour on Sunday afternoon. I went out to sit in the sunshine, and though I had a flannel blanket with me, it was cold!

You can see how blue the sky was yesterday behind me. My hair was blowing in the wind. The sun was lovely, and if it weren't for the temperature in the 30's, it would have been a lovely.

On Saturday, Tim had a job then he and I and Rachel met up with our friend Denny for lunch. He was off this weekend because it was their bid day on Sunday.

I didn't cook much this weekend, but I did make Monte Cristo sandwiches for lunch yesterday.

I used lunch meat ham, since that is what we had available, but they were really good. You can find the recipe{here}.

Saturday night I watched The Help. I never had gotten around to watching it before. It was good. I cried at the end when she had to leave that home, and couldn't care for that little girl anymore. It is shocking, isn't it, how easily we can dehumanize people.

I believe there is only one race - the human race. We are all of one blood going back to Adam and Eve. We are all made in the image of God. How we should judge people is by their actions, and behavior.

I also read a book this weekend.

find it {here}

It is a story of three siblings evacuated during World War II. It is a book for kids, but such a good read. The author said she was inspired by the Pevensie children in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by CS Lewis. The story starts with them having to be evacuated from London as well.

That is the only likeness to the story. These three children William, Edmund, and Anna are orphaned, and go with the children of a local school to be evacuated to the country. There they hope to find a forever home, with someone who will think they "hang the moon."

I'm going to start it as a read aloud with my grands.

Other than some puttering, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning some windows, cleaning the stove and microwave, it was a quiet sort of weekend.

I urge you to pray for our nation. We are on a precipice. We must speak out for truth, and the Constitution or we are lost as a nation.
