Weekend

We had a happy weekend. Mom, Rachel and I went to tea on Saturday with a new friend. Our friend Maggie is from Poland and has lived in the US for 20 years. She is an interesting and fun person.

After tea, Rachel and I dropped into a favorite greenhouse. I needed potting soil, so I got that and ended up with a new pot, and a French Geranium!

Isn't it pretty?

Here is the tag on the plant.

Sunday we went to church then came home and made homemade hamburgers on the grill. It was in the low 50's, sunny, and beautiful.

Tim went on a long bike ride, and said he probably pushed it too much for his first ride in some time. He was feeling sore, but glad he'd done it.

Today, is my youngest grand's 1st birthday!

She's a smiley baby, and other than her coloring, which favors her daddy, she looks a lot of her mommy. We'll get to see her for a few days at the beginning of next month and I can't wait! We sent her a musical mat and it's a big hit with all the kids!

Did you have a good weekend? I know the Northeast has been getting snow. We've had rain and sunshine. What's it been like where you live?

Spring has sprung here. Trees are blooming and leafing out and the temperatures have been in the low 70's. Of course, spring also means wind and thunderstorms, but we are welcoming the rain. Won't be long until the bluebonnets (Texas state flower) begin to bloom-they usually put on quite a show carpeting the roadsides. Have a great week!

🌬️🌬️🌬️ today! Oh how cute your little grand is. Wonderful that you'll get to see her in a few short weeks. Hope that Tim recovers quickly. Everybody tends to overdo once spring fever hits.
