Morning At The Cottage

It's windy this morning, but oh so beautiful! The sun is shining (we had rain again yesterday afternoon and evening), the birds are singing, plants are popping up in the garden!

Watson likes to lay in this old window and look outside. He often just sleeps, but sometimes he makes noises as he watches birds! Over the years he's learned to lay among the doll house toys that the little girls play with here. Over the years, I've learned to leave the toys for a day or so. It's a sweet reminder of this fleeting time in our lives, when girls love to play house.

This console table is handy between the chairs in the living room. My Aldi hydrangea has been watered well, but it looks as if it needs some fertilizer. I'll do that today.

There will be school work today, and then I have a massage this afternoon. This is theraputic massage, dealing with super tight muscles. Not fun, always, but I love my therapist. She's a young mom from our church. Her husband is a chiropractor. I may start to see him next month for some adjustments in the lower back and hip region.

When I am done here on the blog, I will eat and do my study on the book of Revelation. I hadn't studied it for years, and I'm enjoying it so much.

I'm going to take advantage of the quiet I have right now, so I'll talk to you again on Friday.

Have a lovely day.

I absolutely love your windowsill. It has some of my favorite things: a cat (and I do love a black cat) and signs of sweet young life! Enjoy your semi-quiet day(s)! Hope your massage helps!

I have for a long time enjoyed your blog, but for whatever reason ?, I have never been allowed to comment. Hopefully, this will post, I just want to tell you I enjoy your political posts, and agree with every word, 100%. I do read everything on your blog. Thanks so much for sharing.

I also leave the toys out for a little while too:) I smile when I remember the great-grands playing with them. I hope you have a wonderful day and that your hydrangea will be loving the nice weather! HUGS!

I hope you're feeling better and that massage helps. I fell a few weeks ago and really hurt my shoulder, I've been considering PT, too. I think it makes a big difference. Good luck with it...oh and I love that you leave the toys out. It really does go by way too fast.
