Weekend

We've had an excellent Labor Day weekend so far.

On Friday, we did school, got groceries, and then drove to pick up a marketplace find that Kyle has been wanting; Mario Cart for the wii. It was a great price, a bit of a drive but I got a trip to Hobby Lobby while out, too!

Mario Cart has been played a lot this weekend. There is always a lot of laughing and carrying on when it's being played.

Saturday Tim, Sarah, and I went to breakfast. She is leaving for school this week. She is a delight and we will miss her. I spent part of the afternoon sorting through my autumn decor and serving items. I worked on my wreath, on a basket and also a floral arrangement for the bathroom. I'll show you later this week.

This photo was a good catch. Kyle got up to get something and Tim laid down in his spot on the couch! So Kyle just rolled down on top of him! It didn't last long but it looks like they're napping. LOL!

After church yesterday, Sarah and Tim went on a hike, then we watched all four girls while Nate and Kay went out to eat for their anniversary. Today is their anniversary - 7 years! There was quite the hide and seek game which included the little ones who hid behind curtains and under chairs! ha ha!

They haven't aged much, but have added three more girls to their family!

Later, some of Sarah's friends and Wes and Rachel came over to play games and hang out before she leaves for school. It was fun.

Plans for today include a swim and grilling hamburgers I believe. Enjoy your day friends!

  3. Have a great Labor Day! I thought Sarah had graduated from Bible College but maybe I'm remembering when Rachel did? Guess when I've been reading as long as I have it might have blended together! (Been reading for years!)

  4. Your home is always a happening! Glad you explained that Tim was the guilty one. ☺️ Seems as if you followed many pleasant pursuits. Will Sarah be home again before Thanksgiving?
