Why The PP Story Is Fascinating

I had a question Monday from Linnae, as to why I found the Paul Pelosi story fascinating.

Linnae, I hate violence. I hate division and I despise what has gone on for too many years in our nation, vilifying people who disagree politically with them m, politicians spewing lies that lead to followers of theirs attacking people on the "other side." I'm thinking of the Bernie Sanders follower who shot Republican lawmakers in DC a few years ago at a practice for the House's annual baseball game. Steve Scalise was nearly killed.

What I find fascinating in this case there are so many discrepancies. First off, the police said the man entered through an unlocked French door, but the arial shots show a glass door broken, that was broken from the inside. It also shows an open door.

Where was the security detail? They live in a gated community that is extremely wealthy, have security cameras all around, and people who've been there say that there is a lot of security personnel around the house at all times. This makes since since Speaker Pelosi is third in line to the Presidency.

PP was able to go into the bathroom to use his phone (where it was charging?) and call police. He said he didn't know the man, then he said he did know him, "his name is David and he's a friend". The police on the scene in a call to a superior said that the reporting person (Pelosi) seemed confused.

When the police arrived at 2 am, both men were in their underwear, and PP didn't get attacked until the police were right there in view of the men. The police also said that "an unknown person opened the door and let them in." They then said that PP and DD both had their hands on a hammer, and that DD had his other hand on PP's arm.

Then the police said that PP opened the door for them. This is inconsistent with their previous statements. Also and "unknown person opened the door?" By the time you're giving a press conference you know who the person is.

The media immediately went into 'right winger' etc, and mentioned that DD had posted Jan 6 stuff and other conspiracy theories on two different websites.

The two websites that they were pointing to with qanon,  and right wing stuff were set up on Friday. Did David make those websites on Friday, then walk in his underwear to the Pelosi home? The house DD lived in was a BLM, gay pride flag flying home. He is not a maga loving conservative.

The DOJ has now taken over the case claiming DePape was there to kidnap Nancy. However David DePape had arrived on foot, so how as he going to get Nancy to a different location?

With the DOJ taking over the case, the government will control the flow of information.

DePape is apparently Canadian, who has over stayed his visa by many years. He is an illegal alien, but California is a sanctuary state so even though he's had problems with the law before, he's never been sent back to Canada.

PP jr, made a statement that the doctors are "slowly putting his father together again." I think that's a bit of an overstatement.

What is not surprising is that the media and the left started to blame Trump right away.

PP has become a liability for Nancy. I'm sure she is not pleased about that.

I do hope PP has a full recovery. I hate to see anyone injured.

So, Linnae, this is why the story is fascinating. It's riddled with contradicting stories, and now we will likely never know the truth. But the left will try to spin it to their own advantage.

  1. The SFPD initially aired those first observations. It reeks a cover-up. Nothing earth shattering as Hunter Biden’s laptop - more embarrassing than anything. It’s the fact these privileged elitists are afforded more rights and privacy than the average Joe. I do want to note something that is not true that I keep hearing. Pelosi lives in a wealthy part of the city but it is not a gated community. Anyone can hope a Muni and see her home. Although there are always a police presence as well as private security secured by the residents. Pacific Heights is currently considered the safest place in the city. That’s why the fact that PP didn’t arm his security is troublesome. Trusting in the neighborhood security instead.

I appreciate your boldness! Don’t let them silent you.

  2. I knew nothing of this until I read your post yesterday. I keep my head in the sand these days. I went online to read the 'news' and it's just as you say - one article or source says this and another one that and a third one something entirely different. We will most likely never know......

  3. And how! This could all be easily resolved by the police releasing their video. They won't, but the truth is out there. Of course no reasonable human being wants to see anyone bashed in the head with a hammer. Maga people are very reasonable and highly restrained I might add. Can't say the same for the loony left.
