In The Meantime....

We had snow early this morning and on and off throughout the day.  The temps have drop into the 30's during the day, and into the teens at night.

We have the potential for a huge snow storm Monday night into Tuesday.

I have flower buds on my lilacs and leaves on my hydrangea as we have had such mild weather, the plants all thought spring was early!

In the meantime though, I'm lightening the decor around the cottage.

Enjoying my blue and white teacups on display....

Blue and white teacups are my favorite!

We are lightening too. It is spring inside whether the weather outside says it or not. :)

Winter doesn't want to go away and let Spring come. I am so ready for it.

I'm admiring your pretty blue and white transferwares. We're also under a "cold weather alert" here in Ontario (it'll feel like -4F/-20C with the windchill). This too shall pass...

Of course I love the blue and white! I hope you don't get a storm as bad as it sounds to be. We probably will get less than an inch--which actually can be significant here.

We woke up to a dusting of snow today with more coming in the next couple of days. It's still March so anything can happen around here!

Love your blue and white cups and saucers. So light and springy!

Interesting weather, isn't it? I brought in a few cuts of forsythia bush to "force". Probably a good thing since we're expecting a good snow, also.

Love your blue and white transferware teacups. They look lovely against the yellow wall. I love dishes of all colors, but blue and white is my favorite.

Late November

I can't believe it's been a week since we got back from our long weekend trip to Missouri for our niece's wedding. Here are so...
