Handmade Gifts

Do any of you give hand made gifts for Christmas? I've been busy finishing a cowl, and have one of a pair of fingerless gloves done.

I'm enjoying working this simple pattern, and its fun to be making something different than a hat or a scarf!

I have several more pairs to make, and I am thinking I'll get tons of knitting time in on our trip to Florida!

Do you make gifts to give for Christmas?  I'd love to hear about it in the comments.  We can inspire each other!

I have made them in the past. Being in grad school it's tough to find the time unfortunately. I do still make those cookie mix in a jar gifts though!

There is nothing more special than a homemade gift. This is such a beautiful color too! Charming!

I like to crochet in the winter when I need a break from the sewing machine. Although I am not very good at crochet. I need a teacher!
I always make something for my daughter and grandson for Christmas.
BTW I don't know if you noticed I signed up for Mail Chimp. You may have gotten a new email from me. I just did it last night. I need to work out kinks I hope to set it up where you can choose to either get regular posts, or review posts only. Or both. Just thought I would let you know.
Have a good weekend.

I love to do handwork in the car. I used to make all our Christmas gifts. One year it was granola and jars for all.

Unless I get inspired at the last possible moment, I am not planning any homemade gifts this year.

This project is so nice. I love wearing some that my daughter-in-law made for me over my driving gloves for a little extra warmth.
