I was reminded of the important things about a home this week, when I read this quote.
I am dreaming up plans for some room refreshers (after living in our home for 15 years). Basic, simple updates.
But I don't ever want to lose sight of the main gift of a home - to share love with family, friendship with guests, and to make it a place of peace and rest.

Nothing will give one a desire to freshen things up more quickly than watching Fixer Upper or whatever it is with The Gaineses. LOL
I am feeling the need, but have no energy or extra funds to accomplish the basics. I'll be watching what you do!
