Just a quick pop in here to share a photo of one of the tables that was all set up last evening, in preparation for our 'Christmas Around The World' tea this evening.
This is our United Kingdom table - books by British authors, plates representing Queen Victoria, a wee red mailbox, Scottish tartan, and some tea cakes. We chose tea cups that were related in some way to Great Britain, as well.
The table in the background has a Peruvian nativity on it and I am waiting for a beautiful red woven Peruvian cloth that will go down on the table first. All the place settings for that table are on each of the chairs so its just a quick placement after we get the cloth put on the table!
I must dash - I'll be back tomorrow with photos and thoughts!
Have a lovely December 1st!

This is such a clever idea for decorating for a Christmas tea! You are amazing. I can't wait to see all the photos...
Very pretty! The throw was a great idea and it adds such a cozy feeling. :)
I know this is going to be a most festive tea! Love it Deanna!
That plaid is my favorite!
Of course, I've always said the plaid is my favorite color!
Have fun and let us know who it went. Love the idea!
What a great theme! Was it hard to find things to fit each table? Can't wait to see photos of the rest of the tables.
Oh I love the books stacked with the plaid and the globes popped into the cups. Have fun, take time to enjoy...
